Coastal shooting way above their talent level the last few minutes.

Gillin spoke about this on the Witten and Strelow podcast today.

Prices are the same not just for 2026, but 2027.

The renewal stuff will be coming out in the next couple weeks.
Imagine trying to justify an increase after the last two seasons.

It's a win. Now, the big question. Will there be more fans in Conway compared to GaSt????
It's a good thing GSU built that fancy new arena, huh?

Re: FCS national championship

Just makes me think, I don’t want the G5 to be relegated to the new FCS, but if it does happen it might not be that bad. Just as long as ESPN funds it, promotes it, and doesn’t bury it by scheduling it the same day as NFL games, the product on the field would be pretty good. ESPN seems to be promot...

Re: Portal time 25-26

It's really hard to be a dedicated fan that financially supports a program these days. I think we all recognize the only way to be successful is for fans to pour money into NIL/Rev Share, but what incentive is there to give to these players that will leave as quickly as possible? The only motivation...

Multiple JMU transfers making big plays for Indiana today. I guess the red jersey makes them more worthy than the purple one.

Part of the 1200 yards was dependent on catching passes thrown to them. Can’t get yards dropping balls.
Not to mention Dozier and MBake both missed significant time to injury.

I've never seen a team so excited to cut a deficit to 9 with less than 30 sec to go.

Re: Portal time 25-26

Stink did get 3 (all OL) in portal already today, so they were waiting. Let's be honest, GS doesn't have a lot of talent that'll be in demand. We could have easily beaten them with over 25% of our roster missing and a QB with zero experience. If that was the case we should have won the first game t...

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator

I thought our play calling we solid at times, but then hard to understand at others. One thing for sure is we need to run the ball more than we did this season. The NFL has largely moved away from the running game and his play calling reflected that mindset.

Re: Birmingham Bowl

Someone who played the position tells me that Wilson showed more than enough yesterday to prove that giving up on him was a huge mistake by the staff. He has the arm of a D3 QB. That’s not what we are going for. I trust the Hall of Famer. Wilson showed he should have been in the QB room and availab...

You can rationalize behavior if you’d like, CFB has a bunch of terrible teammates everywhere now.
I'm not sure you have team anymore. You have rosters that change constantly, even mid-season.

Re: Who’s going to Birmingham?

Schools that swim in our end of the pool don’t make money on bowl games. That’s been true for the last 30 years or so. The trick is not to lose money. I’m told we won’t lose money in Birmingham. Doesn't the SBC pool money from bowls? That along with JMU making the CFP will likely help cover the cost.

Re: Crosby to UNT

ST was the one consistent bright spot for App this season. I wish him the best, but this one hurts. Losing him to another G5 makes it worse. UNT is knocking it out of the park as far as attendance and revenue. Yet, they still averaged around 7k less than us during our second consecutive 5 win season.

So we pushed to increase enrollment just in time for the System to change the funding model. Great timing.
