Not his original plan, but they are a hot program in the middle of football country. He may get a shot at a lower FBS texas school his senior year since whatever he did screwed up his UNC shot.

Fancher Retires
I enjoyed those early 2000's teams, and he seemed like a genuinely good person.

Re: The J Cline Memorial Celebrity Obituaries
I'm sure there were a number of points where it might have been preventable, but you also have to think about other factors. 1. He was most likely hard-headed ("Everything is fine, it's just a cold"). 2. These guys are on the go and don't get enough rest, so things can hit fast. 3. These crews have ...

Re: July 25 2026 Stadium Concert - Jon Pardi
Like Tom Petty said, modern cou try is just bad rock with a fiddle. I completely agree. Most of the country music today is just watered down rock with a twang. That's kind of ironic, because I think if Tom Petty were to just be starting in today's popular music world, he'd be pigeonholed as country...

Given how young in his career he still is, I doubt he has all that much say in where he gets to play. I figure that last App show was the last one for a while.

This is a huge deal. I see a lot of upside in this guy. Big get by Kerns. He isn't super fast, but he seems tough in the FIBA game films that are out there. Not the smoothest in movements, but the potential is there. Some great pick-and-roll potential and pick-and-pop as he shows potential as a shoo...

They did learn from history. Those with power let too many plebeians get a small taste of power, and that must be stopped. Order must be regained.

Guys wear scarves on the daily? 😂😂 At what point did I say on the daily? This is referring to games. Good grief, no wonder we can't hold traditions. If "fans" don't have a certain level of reading comprehension, imagination, motivation, and caring, then yes, the mentality you have displayed will co...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Tradition is made by the fans. Culture is made by all involved. Those two aren't mutually exclusive to the players and coaches. If they were, then all those pro teams would have nothing. If we want tradition, then make it ourselves as fans, stop waiting on ADs to tell you what tradition is. If you w...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Just win the conference. I'll keep beating this drum. Just win the conference. That is the only goal we have any true control over. We can recruit and pay players on roughly the same level as our conference foes, so it's the only thing we have that is close to an even playing field. Just win the con...

LR grounds keeper hire
Its a shame App couldn't have convinced him to come to Boone. I thought he was going to be done after Atlanta. This guy really knows his stuff. Some of yall might know him from around the catawba valley or took classes from him for his short stint at CVCC. Good hire on LRs part. https://lrbears.com/...

Just saw that on Facebook and was coming to see the chatter.
Ill gladly take his experiences back on the mountain. Hes only 56 though so I could also see this just being a short stop for a couple of years.

It doesn't look like he ever touched the court, even in garbage time, from what I can find. I honestly can't believe this many guards signed up for one team. It's going to be a dogfight for 1 positon. Now if we can fill out the other 4 spots on the court, we'll be set.

Not really depressed. If this were 10 years ago id be depressed, but not in the portal era. I also wonder if they would have gotten the same looks if they had stayed at App, especially a guy like Castle.
