Re: Clark gets a statue at Moore Plaza.
Money for it was raised on Thursday night at the auction for football. It’s not a statue but a pillar in Jerry Moore Plaza. Nice tribute to one of our own.

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
No clue ands that's a great question. Hopefully they've made a call to him. Unfortunately, we know the facilities battle. That is a big chunk of money. I'm not sure baseball needs "life changing" money though to compete annually. Just $100k could go a long way. Shoot, maybe $50k? I honestly have no...

Alumni. Maybe take a dollar or two from Football. A couple of us are trying to set up a call with Kermit to see where we can assist/gauge needs. The program has had a few guys that made some decent money over the past 10-15 years playing professionally. Could be a start. There might be enough inter...

Playoff hockey is the best. Even when one’s team is no longer the top dog.

Well, we are just my letting the Canadians get overconfident. This has been our plan all season.. that is why we let them win all 3 regular season games. We got them right where we want 'em!! The Canadiens are a young team that is finding its groove ahead of schedule. They look like a team to conte...

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Count me among those who would like to see the tournament occasionally move to, say, Winston-Salem or Myrtle Beach. But one big reason the tournament is in Montgomery is something I hadn’t considered until one of our coaches pointed it out. That is, with the SEC Tournament in Hoover, Ala., scouts c...

Best season in ten years in the Sunbelt. Had more guys than ever recognized for accolades in the regular season. SunBelt Conference is fifth best conference out of 30 in the country. Pretty damn good season! Pretty hard to recruit baseball players to come play baseball in cold weather. Be thankful ...

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
One of the announcers yesterday pointed out that Texas St was moving to a new conference and said that maybe we play them again some time. I know he was just talking but zero chance we spend the money traveling there for even a weekend series. This talk of scheduling is interesting. I can’t imagine...

From App. St. Brew. Well Done!! With four Mountaineers earning All-SBC accolades this year, where does that rank for most honorees in a single season for App State? Got a guess? Answer: The most ever as a Sun Belt member Still bummed that Tolley didn't get POY when he so deserved it! Is there a 3rd...

Re: 2026 Team Previews
I would say a losing record against peer schools is sufficient cause to fire him. If he can't get this team over .500 in year two, he needs to go in my opinion. A losing record would make three consecutive years of losing records, how often do you think that has happened in App State football histo...
