Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Every since they announced Coach Dlo as our coach, I have thought.... "man he looks like someone that was in football before".... I just never could put my finger on it. Yesterday I was listening to some 80's/90's country on youtube while working. Confederate Railroad came on with their song Memphi...

Re: Joey's quest for the bag
What Joey is trying is perfect for him. Tyler Shough stayed in college and come out at 26 and is doing great now in the NFL (playing for my Saints). I think another year in the SEC could possibly help him grow into a QB that could make an NFL team. If nothing else, he can make some good money and he...

Re: Roster/Staff Updates
I love X posts that don't share the position of the player/new coach joining App's staff. App's comms team needs to step their game up; G5's are turning over people every 10 minutes and no one can expect us to remember who's doing what around here any more. It says running backs coach under the pic...

Re: Curt Cignetti teams....
Crowning him one of the best ever, does this mean top 5, top 20? Seems premature and recency bias. 147-36 overall. Turned around Elon and went 14-9 in two seasons. 52-9 at JMU in 5 years. 27-2 at Indiana. Took one of the worst P4 teams in the world and made it a national champion. The fact he did i...

Re: Curt Cignetti teams....
Cig is one of the best coaches ever. It also helps you have Mark Cuban money to go with that. I like Cig and I like what he's done in Indiana. Kudos to what he's done there and hopeful that he can keep it going.

Re: Dowell Loggains and his recruiting staff are absolutely phenomenal.
8-4 would be nice, but I can think of other things that might be better: -A thoughtful game day entertainment plan (with a different DJ) -Cups with ice -Additional points of ingress/egress from KBS  And barbecue, don't leave out the lovely barbecue ;) Chopped please. Pulled pork is not as good...

Re: Portal time 25-26
Portal isn't about just bringing starters in.... Gotta have backups as well. While some may look like "projects", gotta have bodies.

It's not portal ..... But App offered Mooresville high school kicker Andrew Cummings. Andrew goes to church with us and is in class with my son. Great young man and great kicker. Hopefully he picks App! He has a few other offers as well.
