Gillin spoke about this on the Witten and Strelow podcast today.
Prices are the same not just for 2026, but 2027.
The renewal stuff will be coming out in the next couple weeks.

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
I don't know why Riley Watkins is listed as the QB/WR coach when I've never seen him coach either. Every time the QB needed coaching, it was Associate Head Coach Clyde Christensen. I know Riley has been involved big time in recruiting. Also, never heard of the Tight End's coach being in the booth be...

Re: Portal time 25-26
App spring semester begins Jan. 12 (next Monday) and the last add/drop day is Jan. 16 (next Friday).BambooRdApp wrote: ↑Mon Jan 05, 2026 10:48 amYes, understood. I would think most of these players would like to be in the mix for spring practice. As such, I would think they would need to be enrolled for spring semester.

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
I’m not sure I buy the idea that DL is a bad play caller. My issue is with our QB play. In my 25+ years watching App St football, that was the worst QB room we’ve had, relative to our competition. It was a huge red flag we didn’t have a starter named/known until the first snap of the season. For th...

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
Larkins was allegedly gone before the Arkansas State game. And yes, he was the defensive assistant everywhere else.

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
This season, Yurachek (TE coach) was the only on-field assistant in the booth. Besides him, Higgins, Sanders and Speir were in the booth as staffers.

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator
I think it's a must for 2026.
Garrett Riley is available.
Ryan Habich is right down the road.

Re: Birmingham Bowl
Non-rhetorical question: What OC do you think could scheme up an offensive plan that works with a 3rd string QB who throws an interception every other play, and a 5th string QB/DB with 2/10 throwing accuracy? One that sees we're throwing interceptions in plus territory and gaining yards while runni...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
It was always the right decision to play this game. Everyone involved should be commended for it. The players that decided to play, mostly. They played hard and put in the effort. I'm proud of them. This game showed once more that the offensive play caller is a hinderance to this program. Dowell nee...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
One team put the rivalry game name on their helmet.
The other team compared this to an NFL divisional game. And coaches like an NFL coach.

Re: Portal time 25-26
Yeah, for years there's been a lot of unoccupied bedrooms at aunt's and uncle's houses that happened to be in a certain school district. I personally know of one case where an assistant coach for one school followed a player home to prove they were at the wrong school. And this was way before this m...

Re: Birmingham Bowl
The App State game preview says "more than 70" players are in Birmingham. So that's better-than-expected news.
