Re: Roster/Staff Updates
Double digit win is a tall order. No pun intended. I am not one of those complaining but just feel like those who have complained won't stop until we are Sun Belt East Champions and I do think that would take 10 wins. We are in a new era of college football where old expectations need to be removed...

Re: Executive Order for College Sports
I don’t fully understand why we’re going back and forth on non competes in corporate America. College football has turned into a professional sport, and that’s really the only comparison you need. Women’s soccer, nfl, mlb, nba, etc… all have contracts; most of which are multi year where they can on...

Re: FBS to be split- Now we know why schools paid heavy prices to move up
While i believe contracts are in the future, just remember, once it goes down the path of contracts there is no going back. Its a professional league. Now we are talking unions, personal health care insurance, sick leave, days off, labor laws, etc.... contracts might rein in the wild west transfer ...

Re: Luke Combs
On the contractual idea, I am with Luke 100%. Not sure how contractually it would work, my comment on a thread on YC a long time ago was related to multi year contracts. If I had enough funds to fund several players for nil, I would want a contract that would be multi-year. Player does not get all ...

Re: Sun Belt Tournament 2026
If you were there you saw who was sitting behind the bench. An unhappy lot. Style of play has been well discussed on this Board, lack of “excitement” . At some point, it will be time to shake things up. The only proven coach we have is going to get run off for not being exciting enough (when anothe...

JMU’s entire starting 22 and most of the 2s on the depth chart is in the portal. It’s just the world we live in now.

Re: Site attachment limit reached.
I was going to add a Pic to the merry Christmas page, but I was met with an error message stating that the board attachment quota had been reached. Is that something that could be easily fixed or is it due to a payment tier the board exists on? I pruned some very old attachments. Should be okay now.

I don’t like where we are, but the old way was illegal. I’d like to think there is a middle, but I really don’t know.

https://x.com/themscpodcast/status/2002588108345450688 Reinventing the FCS is a terrible idea. Energy of this thread is all wrong. The fight should be for regulation around nil and transfer portal, not a g5 playoff. It’s a huge slap in the face to all of us who were on the team/worked with the team...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum
The only reason G5 is included now is to avoid antitrust lawsuits. After this year, look for the P4 to propose something that shares some CFP money with the G5 and maybe creates something that guarantees national broadcast opportunities in exchange for the G5 not getting in the CFP. I was just in g...
