Re: Apps In The Pros Mega Thread

Wow it’s great to see the names of the current players who played for us and the ones listed above were (I believe) recruited and stayed at least 4 years. Kind of sad to think back to the number of FCS era guys who made it and how much pride we had when their names got chosen. Unless something dras...

Re: UNCG, UNCW, UNCC All get more money from Raleigh

A 90-91% acceptance rate is almost embarrassing. 1000 less students means at least 8 million lost in tuition per year, and that's if everybody is in-state. I don't see App playing the game of trying to meet metrics to make up that deficit with state funding given our history with those folks.

Re: Pro Day on March 25th

I just finally got around to reading the results. Favors with 23 bench reps at 190 BW is insane. Not that it really matters at the safety position too much, but that's some eye catching strength from a safety. Beats the best combine result from a safety by 5 reps and that guy was 10 pounds heavier t...

Re: Executive Order for College Sports

These are all assumptions, but I feel like we've built our brand based on the one-off influx of exposure from beating the teams we shouldn't. The obvious Michigan, but just as that wave was about to completely die off, we go and knock off A&M and get college game day here. I can't remember how much ...

Re: Sun Belt Tournament 2026

I hate to even say this, but what’s the point anymore. There’s no loyalty, funding or not we’ll see the same turnover every year. No lightning in a bottle this year, hope for the best next year.

Insane that on Wednesday morning we were #1, and a single loss could bump us to #5 or #6. Would really like to claim that #2 spot considering our depth, huge game tonight.

Re: Softball 2026

Heck of a weekend coming up for these ladies. Friday against #1 Tennessee, Saturday against #23 Penn State after a game earlier in the day against NC Central, then back to Sunday against #1 Tennessee. Not sure if this weekend tells us much but it'll at least give us a good look of where we stand.

Not sure why you would challenge that, he shot the ball with 2 seconds on the shot clock.

Re: Dowell Loggains and his recruiting staff are absolutely phenomenal.

We need three pieces of information: What do we have now? Where do we want to go? What amount does it take us to get there? Until we have that information, donating to NIL is useless. And before anyone yells at me again for burying my head in the sand on the changing landscape, I "did my part" and r...

Re: Birmingham Bowl

It was always the right decision to play this game. Everyone involved should be commended for it. The players that decided to play, mostly. They played hard and put in the effort. I'm proud of them. This game showed once more that the offensive play caller is a hinderance to this program. Dowell ne...

Re: Birmingham Bowl

Honestly, a better showing than I expected. Considering we were an entirely one-dimensional team with our QB situation, there is not a coach in the country who could have done any more with what we had. The reason it was even remotely a game is because our defense came to play and Wilson is a flashy...

GASO 42
US 17

I'll still enjoy watching, but this is an exhibition game at best given the state of our roster.

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum

I am not in agreement with this play. JMU only got in due the fact that a 7-5 Dook team upset Va. Given JMUs weak OOC schedule, they were not going to get in otherwise. I say we schedule the P4 teams, win and write our own destiny. I think herein lies my biggest issue, regardless of if you're serio...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum

Honestly, I'm ok with this. If JMU and/or Tulane holds their own I'll change my tune, but my guess is they get rocked by 35+ points. I don't want want to play all year to get there and then get absolutely embarrassed. The top 15 or so aren't our peers, regardless of the fact we're all FBS.

I do wonder if he reads the board. I would absolutely love (not sarcasm) if I had a place where people openly shared their opinions about my workplace. Maybe he just sees us all as overly whiney.

Re: Gillin

3 games were lost by a field goal or less...1 by a TD and 2 pt conversion. - Had we not had all the injuries on the OL and RB we would have won at least 1 of thoses. - Injuries are not Loggians fault. - The offsides at taking away the TD yesterday isn't Loggains fault Go ahead and rip this appart.....
