Turrible shooting by both teams - enough bricks to build a nice facility. We’ll take the win though it was a comedy of errors. I watched a high school game last night between two ranked teams in the state and it was bad basketball. AAU effect? Trickle down or trickle up?

Practice shooting one-handed. Forces you to get your elbow under the ball and follow-through. A lot of bad shots are the fault of the offhand not in the proper place on the ball (too much over the top, too much under though that’s rare or too much force used by that hand in the shot).

IMO: Start early summer, teach good form with a coach watching and correcting as much as possible, 100 a day and chart ‘em all, can’t leave the gym until you make 10 straight, run the Tennessee Thirty drill a lot early in season and tell players you are going to do that and they’ll start shooting ex...

Hard thing to fix. It’s a long fix, year round working on form and getting many reps while winded. And hope to get your best shooters to the line. I believe what a team shoots percentage wise in the first ten games is probably what it’s gonna shoot for the rest of the season.
