I thought we retired 14.
The number 14 is retired. He will have to pick a new favorite number. He may study Edward's play and become another Armanti.
Isn’t Kanye Roberts #14?
I was under the impression that he was the last person that would have that number.

I shouldn’t have watched the highlights. I’m sold. 12-0.

He has a few plays where he’s behind the play and catches up to block multiple people. Pretty agile!
He is wearing number 14.

12-0 more like 17-0...

Re: FCS national championship

The players are still playing because what they are playing for means something. People are being told that the bowls do not matter and the players believe that.

Expand the playoffs with automatic conference champion spots, everything will stabilize.

If we drop four less balls at certain times in the season this tread would be half as long.
Isnt that the truth. I dont think the play calling was a problem this year.
Is that not the truth? The turnovers at key points during the games are what really cost us this season.

I wonder what kind of deals were made when these deals were not legal.

Is JMU better than Wake Forest? Utah ? BYU? Navy ? Illinois? There’s a long list of better teams. They had a good team but are they one of the twelve best ? No. Top forty ? Maybe. Maybe not.
The best teams win their conference. They should be in the playoffs automatically.

Re: We need a good offensive coordinator

What we need is a healthy lefthanded mobile quarterback.

Their blindside is always on the wrong side, so teams have problems coping with that.

Re: Birmingham Bowl

With Georgia Southern and Clay Helton, the biggest difference is Helton recruited all of those players where Loggains inherited the majority of his.

Re: Birmingham Bowl

The Birmingham Bowl does have a cool trophy; it would have been nice to have it in our trophy cabinet. Maybe when we beat them next season in Statesboro, they will let us take it home with us.

Re: Birmingham Bowl

Some of yall are crazy. How can you question a coach’s talent evaluation when you look at results? App played literally the same team twice, once with starters and once with mostly 3-4th string guys. The starters lost by 2, the backups lost by 19. Wilson and a couple other players showed some flash...

Re: Birmingham Bowl

Just like Loggains had said all season how the players needed to learn how to win, he and his coaches need to learn to win as well. This season is over, but that does not mean things have not been learned by everyone the players, the coaches, the fans, and the administrators. I believe Appalachian i...

Re: Could ACC be snubbed and SBC get in CFP?

If a team is really that good, they should be able to win their conference. That is the only way to make it fair and guarantee the best teams are in the playoffs. Anything less is just a beauty contest. You will never have the very best teams in the playoffs until you do, because some conferences ar...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum

Appalachian would not have beaten Michigan if they had not played Michigan. A non-autonomous school will beat an autonomous school someday if given the opportunity. What is really at stake is the money. The Sun Belt and American just got paid today. Notre Dame did not. The Autonomous schools want to...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum

The matchup comparison should include nil money spent in the year these days. Maybe that is what it is all really about. The P4's need to justify the amount of money spent. I saw a pod cast where if the G6 is not the same as the P4 then why are you taking G6 players and G6 coaches? Which of course ...

Re: G6 playoff gaining momentum

If they really wanted the best teams in the playoffs all you would have to do is win your conference championship to be in the playoffs. Why am I the only one that can see this? The beauty of this is that it would stabilize the conferences. It might even cause conferences to be more regional; the c...

Notice how they have hidden the JMU and Tulane game on TNT and Tru TV. A plot to keep the viewership of those games down.

Re: Birmingham Bowl

That USF/ODU game was something huh. ODU's star QB in TP and sits out. USF's QB is out as are WRs, coaches are gone. What should have been a top three G6 matchup was just terrible football. Putting together our roster is going to be like triage this week. What does embarasing football on national T...
