We have Sweatt, Williams, Ramsey coming back, who all started.

Dennel Nix was an unknown who signed in February out of high school and is now being courted by OK State and Oklahoma. So, I do believe OL recruiting from high school is better than it was in the past.

I think that’s part of the strategy as well to recruit so heavily out of HS. If we want to be a developmental program in this new era, we have to offer opportunities for players to play right away - even OL and DL.

Burris was all conference. And once again, we hope Poindexter can return.

Assume we are still wanting DL and OL? We think RB or rely on the main 2 currently in house? Seems we need more big outside receiver(s) as well? I am interested to see what happens at RB. Former App State DL Bucci Farmer has committed to Old Dominion

I really hate it didn’t work out with Bucci here. He is a talented player. In a perfect world, there would have been better existing leadership on the DL around him to help him.

One thing I LOVE about Mac Walters - Scout team award winner similar to Rondo Porter. Shows he is not afraid of working hard in practice and leading the right way to earn his chances. Walters won the award twice.

Pretty agile! My favorite part of him is his desire for contact. He was a hockey player in high school as well.
