Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
With the money coming from ? Alumni. Maybe take a dollar or two from Football. A couple of us are trying to set up a call with Kermit to see where we can assist/gauge needs. The program has had a few guys that made some decent money over the past 10-15 years playing professionally. Could be a start...

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Best season in ten years in the Sunbelt. Had more guys than ever recognized for accolades in the regular season. SunBelt Conference is fifth best conference out of 30 in the country. Pretty damn good season! Pretty hard to recruit baseball players to come play baseball in cold weather. Be thankful ...

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Kermit should have been aware of this. Leaving in a pitcher for too long again.ASUFan4863 wrote: ↑Thu May 21, 2026 3:07 pmDiRito has thrown probably 10-15 extra pitches here through the delays

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Based on my eyes, you have to attack this pitcher early. His offspeed stuff is too good

Good call by the umps there for a ground rule double. I have never understood the wall design.

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
Losing 8 of the last 12, including 4 straight would not be a meltdown? That's comical.. we split our last 4 series. Two wins, two losses, including a sweep of Stink. The other "loss" was to Wake Forest .. 18th in RPI.. Nice try to label it a meltdown... Kermit piss on your cornflakes in another lif...

Re: 2026 Team Preview
Doug’s job is safe whether this hire works out or not. Everyone can have an opinion on his tenure, but to suggest that he be replaced based on the outcome of one sport is narrow minded and speaks to one’s singular focus on App. Yes football drives the bus but he is responsible for so much more than...

Re: 2026 Team Previews
Haven't been on here in a while. Can someone help me understand why the low predictions for 2026 when I thought we had a highly rated recruiting class and transfers coming for this upcoming season? Low predictions due to so many unknown variables and that it’s easiest for these random publications ...

Re: 2026 Baseball Mega Thread
I am in agreement that the staff has likely earned an extension. My three questions are: 1. Is the overall record more of a reflection of the talent or the schedule? 2. What are the goals/steps to make postseason play in the future? 3. What would an adequate extension look like? My two cents... 1) ...
