Re: CJ Huntley

The fact that Mantis is earning a living playing professional basketball astounds me.

Re: 1/10 - MBB at Beach Chickens, 1pm

Any advise for the assistant coach to relay? Mine would be to feed Marcus and Wilson early. When they start doubling down, look to kick out for Tot, Jennings and Dodd for open 3’s. Don’t be lazy with passes. Keep things ugly, as always. Try not to hit too many free throws. In the spirit of your rec...

In addition to a big payout, Gamble can look forward to enjoying the many charms afforded by Greenville/ECU: heat, humidity, mosquitoes, clouds of gnats, crime and nonexistent academic standards.
You forgot 5th Street on Friday) Saturday night 😂
Wait, I mentioned “crime,” didn’t I?

Re: Indiana vs Oregon

I can imagine the power of the unique message Cig and his staff shared with recruits last winter. Coaches from name-brand programs: “ At (Alabama/Penn State/wherever), you’ll be part of a storied tradition and play a part in winning another championship to continue that tradition. ” IU Coaches: “ We...

Re: Spring Game?

I would be pleasantly surprised if some type of spring scrimmage event happened this year. Never a bad idea to get people on campus and generate excitement around the new recruits and the overall program.

Surratt, Black, Ponds, Fisher, Kamara and Tucker all lost to App State on College Gameday.
No matter how many more games Cig wins, one of those defeats will always belong to Shawn Clark and App State.

Glad to get the win ,but I can’t put a bow on this pig. The Game was ugly, as usual, and my opinion is that we won because they were worse than us.
I suppose being the tallest midget isn’t pretty, but it’s still enough to get the job done from time to time.

Thanks for sharing these lists. Let’s hope DLo and DJ land App some DL bulls who can get into the offensive backfield on a consistent basis.

It would be interesting to see numbers of tickets sold and TV viewers (leaving out data for commercial establishments) for the non-CFP bowl games and how these metrics compare to historical data.

Re: Portal time 25-26

Agents still have to be licensed in every state. There is an application process and you have to meet certain requirements in order to be an agent. What i haven't looked into is whether the ncaa is going to require anything of the agents. So there is some filtering due to having to be qualified for...

Re: Portal time 25-26

Anyone hear of the site Rallyfuel? Appears to be a site that you can donate directly to players as NIL funds. App is not on here but most Sun Belt teams are on here. Not sure if legit. If so, that is wild. It would be cool if App players could receive funds through that site. I wonder how it would ...

Good game. As I watched I kept asking myself:

Could we have won against either of these teams tonight?
You already know the answer, my man.

There are 365 D1 men’s basketball teams. We are ranked 363 in free throw percentage. I could go on a big rant about this but will just leave it at that. This has been updated since Saturday. We are now 365th in FT percentage, dead last in D1. Might as well just throw it at the rim and hope for a re...

Hire the guy at Watauga.
It’s not a bad idea. And the guy already has housing, so that overcomes a key obstacle to coaching for App.
