Love them or hate them. Probably best final 4 game ever. Regardless of outcome.

Watching this game reminded me of NCSU and UCLA. Bigger game than the final.

It was a winner game not a loser game.

Great ball game. Not a fan of either team but love to watch two of the best teams go at it.

My take on "greatest games:" Edited; forgot one of the more recent show-stoppers
1) 1974 NCSU/Maryland ACC championship - both top 5 teams, only one could go dancing
2) 1974 NCSU/UCLA final four semi
3) 1991 Duke/UNLV
3) 2022 Duke/uncheat
5) 1992 Duke/Kentucky
5) 1968 UCLA/Houston in the Astrodome

We don't slide at Appalachian State. It's a sign of weakness.

I grew up a Wake fan (dad graduated from there). Nobody hated Wake as the rarely posed a threat. Been black and gold App guy since 1982 but I never hated any of the other ACC teams and honestly I’d root lime hell for any of the big 4- could never get into the conference thing. I love the hate folks have for one school or another and it’s funny reading and hearing what they say. That being said last night’s game was really great and as they say, when a game lives up to the hype even better. Coach K had an incredible run and it’s hard to imagine someone eclipsing his win mark but it was time to move on. It’s really unbelievable that this series is as close as it is with the record and points scored. Monday should be a good one but Hubert has a monumental task getting those guys back into focus.

The rivalry has made both teams better and the two teams are better for it.

Had it not been for the rivalries Appalachian has been a part, Appalachian would not be where it is today. Appalachian and Georgia Southern would not be who they are today without each other. The Sun Belt East is just going to grow and grow because of the rivalries.

If I remember correctly, the Final Four/Championship games are the largest betting events of the entire year. Betting action on these games (total dollars and total # of bets) are significantly larger than the Super Bowl, NBA Championship or World Series.

I'm sure that factors in as much making sure fans across the US can see the game...not to mention being subjected to a veritable mountain of sh*tty TV advertisements.

Anyway, my better half watched and said it was a good game...I went upstairs and hit the hay early.

Gone With The Wind was playing in theaters the last time the Heels beat App in football.

Gonzaga-UCLA last year was one of the best games I've ever seen. But then Gonzaga went out and got smoked in the final, so it won't get remembered like it would if they'd won.

Or 4/21/22?

It is the 50th and it is making the rounds in theaters
