Michigan is going to have Biff Poggi as there head coach for their Bowl game. Absolute proof that things could be worse.

They've already had Poggi as head coach for multiple weeks this season.

It's an awful situation that has gone from bad to ugly real fast, and well beyond anything football related in terms of importance.

Still don't have a clear idea of what happened per the news I've read.

Nevermind.

Prosecutors charged Moore with felony third-degree home invasion and two misdemeanors: stalking in a domestic relationship and breaking and entering. Moore was released from jail after meeting the $25,000 bond.

Yeah. It's way past football and into matters of actual importance there. And Moore has been on suicide watch the past days.

If the "victim" of the home invasion is the paramour who turned him in, probably a pretty weak home invasion and will eventually dropped or plead down to a misdemeanor. This has.... jilted lover turns on married man whom she had an affair with and the #$#$ hits the fan when he goes to confront her.....written all over it.

Michigan has a zero tolerance policy regarding "inappropriate relationships". Funny, it appears it was investigated at least twice and was a widely known "secret" around the football program. Further, he had multiple (at least two) complaints from other women lodged against him that the university did nothing about.

Apparently, his paramour ended the 2 year relationship earlier and he wouldn't let it go. She finally complained to the university and furnished proof of the affair, forcing them to finally do something about it. So it was his paramour that turned him in and in this case it appears because he wouldn't leave her alone.

I had federal sexual harassment training as part of a contract job. Doesn't matter if it's consenting if it is a boss/subordinate situation, it can't happen. Seems to me that Big Blue is open to several potential lawsuits. A lot of people calling for the AD's head too as he covered it up for two years.

He has three young daughters with the youngest born this year. I feel bad for his wife and daughters.

It's crazy that, had Moore just accepted the breakup, probably none of this would've seen the light of day. Terrible look for an athletic department that's already had a lot of terrible press over the last few years. The AD should've been fired yesterday.

The part that I don't get is that the paramour was a willing participant for a while and she also was in this inappropriate relationship. Is she being fired as well? I'm not trying to defend Moore, it just seems that so far only one of the persons involved is being held accountable.

The power imbalance may have been so one-sided. Even if the other person initiated the relationship he should have rebuked the advances. That just comes with the responsibility of being one of the top people on campus and having a very powerful position.

I just thought it unbelievable and funny that a program like Michigan is being coach by a UNCC cast off named Biff. I also find it to be an example of just how crazy college sports have become. I really take no pleasure in the downfall of the coach or for that matter Michigan’s football program.

It's possible for both of them to be in the wrong. She shouldn't be given an excuse for an affair with a married man just because he has more power.

It's been over 35 years but from my training.. He should have rebuffed her advances, reported it and transferred her to a position not in his chain of command. And yes I was single at the time but I had to do this exact thing......

If there was a zero tolerance policy at the Big 4, the shortage of CPAs would be even worse 😂😂

That would have been the smart thing to do. I am just shocked that the massive pay increase she got did not sound off alarm bells with accounting a lot earlier than they supposedly knew about this.

Bingo. Moral of the story: Don't have affairs and don't get your honey where you work.

Also don't lose to OSU. Makes you wonder how much of this would have been swept under the rug by U of M if Michigan won a couple weeks ago.
