Big 10 gonna do what they do. Very rarely do I have more than 1 big 10 team make past the sweet 16, especially wisconsin.

A lot of teams spend $2M and don’t sniff the tourney. Shoot, UNC probably spends $15M and they lose.

19 actually. I never under estimate how much my daughter can jinx a team/player. She took a pic with their best player, not long after he didn’t play the rest of the season.

If football does not see a massive improvement I am going to be ready to shift about 1M of our football pay to play over to basketball and try to help Kerns get us in the NCAA with a chance to make noise.

Mid major NIL math is pretty simple- schools that don’t have to pay for football and only need to cover a smaller basketball payroll have more success. No idea what we are paying to players but how much real football talent can you expect to get and pay with a few million when larger schools can afford to pay bench players what we might pay a starter? It’s pretty obvious for basketball success you only need about 3 studs.

High Point has NIL over $4m. Robbing Peter to pay Paul but still be “broke” by NIL standards would be a bad decision.
