They need to be pounding the phones to all alumni athletes.

They probably need to make sure they are registered with the Alumni Association. It’s unfortunate, but Athletics (including former athletes association) maintains a separate contact list than the Alumni Association does.

When I was closely involved there was a reluctance to share such information cross-department.
