Let's pile on Gillin!!!!!

With the season over.... I am sure Gillin needs a list of things to work on. No better place than Yosef Cabin members to make him a list. I will start.
There is no reason for there not to be a gate/entry before the game at the top of the hill in front of the old Quinn Center to enter the game for fans in the upper deck of the section 218 on the east side.
Keep the list going so he can work on these over the next 8 months.

Ditch the generic playlist of stadium music to play in three-second snippets between plays.

The biggest help imo would be an upgrade to our broadcast equipment/personnel

Move the APPSTATE singing of the Alma Mater to 30minutes before kickoff instead of hyping up the crowd to destroy it at the last second with the singing of "Cherished Vision" Apps Alma Mater. Or better yet play it at the end of the game by the band.

Wish list
Better GameDay experience inside stadium. All items listed above. GameDay entrance does not get people fired up. Do not get me wrong, I like some mountain music by Alabama. However, we need some more rock like music to get everyone into a frenzy. Sets tone for rest of the game.
Move the band. We can no longer hear them in our section of the NEZ. Do not have solution for this one.
Better options in the NEZ.
My awning over nez as communicated to me at time of purchase (this ain't happening
)

Like many I’m a long time suffering Panthers fan (maybe this year?!). I had reached a point where my hope/expectation for the team is first- Win the Super Bowl. If not that make the playoffs. Next is be competitive. After all that doesn’t happen at least be entertaining.
This isn’t the “just have fun” take but as far as home game days goes the experience should at least be entertaining and done professionally. Watching on plus is brutal. Our staff and game day crew has maybe 6 (or 7) opportunities to prepare and deliver a first rate experience for fans. Do we actually have students and other paid “professionals” who plan and prepare for the 3+ hour game day? Stuff happens that can’t always be avoided but our television crew delivers a product often less than PBS used to do. How hard is it to at lest update the score? Lighting is awful and the bouncing around of camera shots is brutal.
The in stadium experience issues are unacceptable as well. Totally agree about band placement and song snippets. Generally speaking you would think that a stadium experience in 2025 would be better than 20 years ago but not so much in KBS.

I don't get to go to many games anymore due to distance, but last year the game day experience was worse than when I was a student in 2011.

And whoever is running the chiron for christ sake get the down and distance for every play!

I think Mountain Music (while not my personal favorite song) is pretty solid as an in-game selection, like during one of the breaks between quarters. It's one of the few things we have that's at all distinctive to us, and it gets a nice singalong/clapalong going. Agree that it's a bit misplaced as an entry song.

While we are doing a complaint thread, let me take a quick break to praise the efficiency of the beer table staff. At least on the east side, they really keep those long lines moving quickly. Makes it easy to pop out for some in-game refreshment without missing much.

Or, if they absolutely can't get the down and distance, zoom the camera out so we can see the chains on the sidelines.
