What if we pulled a Miami 2.0 in 2026

So, currently South Carolina doesn't have a 12th game scheduled for the 2026 season and as we know, they've kicked the can down the road on their visit to Boone and few of us believe that return trip will ever happen.
Dowell Loggains and Doug Gillin have an opportunity to do the funniest thing ever! WHAT IF we shuffled the deck and could get SC to Boone next year.
PS we currently have scheduled Maine, at ECU, Charlotte, and at NC State scheduled for 2026.
Recall, when Miami came to Boone they were in a similarly tight spot scheduling wise, we were able to move a game to accommodate and make it the first time a P4 team had visited App in a long time.

I am all for either one. However, if I am in need of another home game, I am going to pursue that option.

Home. If they played Clems son at home that year maybe we could have talked them into it if dg brought a handle of Wilkes county finest and some brass knuckles but IMO no way they are going to agree to away at App w/o Clemson at home

I'm sure there's someone in the area who will be happy to get a payday to go to Columbia on short notice.

I would love to get the SC game but I'm not sure 2026 is the year that it I best. If we were able to buy out Maine to do it, that would leave us playing OOC games against Charlotte, ECU, NC State and SC. We would have to make significant improvements (which hopefully we DO make) to win two of those games and unlikely to win 3. I'm just not sure it's a good move for 2026....as much as I hate to say it.
