Anyone, anywhere, anytime is an awesome way for Appalachian to grow our brand even more. The best part is that it is against Georgia Southern. I wonder what their thoughts are on playing us.

I'm in. Not sure how, but it's on. I will say Monday at 2 sounds more like a business meeting than a football game but if that's when they play, I'll take off my tie, pop open a drink and join in.

I'm planning on going, but is $53 the cheapest I'm seeing???
Also, I think I read where every entry, no matter the age, needs a ticket. $53 is tough for a 3 year old who will be as much of a distraction from watching the game then she will be as a help.
PS: I love my 3 year to death and experiencing App State football with her, but 4Q football and little girl patience don't always mix. It works in Boone as she gets in for free and I have an awesome wife. But man, $53.

Probably throwing tickets in your window when you drive into Birmingham. Stadium will be a ghost town.

I thought you were done with supervised probation.

Talked my wife into going. She tends to be a good-luck charm for App (and certainly good luck for me).

Not quite. I fled from the cops on my tractor. Again.

5 of heading down Saturday before the game. Staying in a Holiday Inn Express 20 minutes before Birmingham. (Stayed there on the way to Southern Miss and liked it) We are parking in the pink lot... Seems pretty close to everything. We are going to the Fan Fest on Sunday, and will probably do the same thing on Monday before the game.

I wonder how many fistfights will go down in the parking lot before/after the game?

I bet you'll see more sandbagging discussions of how underwhelming both sides are than you will fist fights.

Anyone hoping for crazy weather this bowl game? Does it snow in Birmingham?

Does anyone fight with fists anymore?
