When is the 2026 schedule coming out? I thought it usually is out by now.

End of Feb last year.
Personally would like for them to wait until after SBC bball tournament. Given tournament is one week earlier than major conferences, announce next week after bball tournament is over.

Delayed due to issues with Louisiana Tech joining the Sun Belt this year. SI has an article about it but I can’t get the link to work.

If La Tech can’t join until 2027 then does the Sun Belt go without divisions for a season? Odd number of teams without La Tech.

If this is such a donkey rodeo, I’m even less optimistic about the SBC’s ability to negotiate the next TV contract. And I wasn’t optimistic or even ambivalent to begin with.

I am not surprised when you consider how they looked down at the SBC at one point and now the SBC is able to poach pretty much any team it wants from CUSA.

CUSA learned from the Marshall/ODU/USM mismanaged contract and better prepared this time around.

One of the Cajun reporters is claiming the schedule might come out Friday with 14 Sun Belt teams.

Conference USA just announced its schedule including Louisiana Tech. At 9:40 p.m. ET.
They did the same tactic in 2022 with ODU, Marshall and SoMiss.

I believe they changed the bylaws after the SB3 left CUSA and adopted a GOR type contract. Going to be difficult to get LA Tech this year unless they pay out, shouldn't have accepted the 2025 payments...
If I'm the App scheduling in charge of flights/hotels let's just say I'd hold off booking anything.
