Re: Sun Belt Tournament 2026
That is a drawback for the SBC being geographically disbursed. Same for CAA. I went to the UNCW tournament game Sunday in DC. There was a row of court side seats, 20 or so, that were empty. We walked right down and sat court side. For basketball and mid major conferences that are so geographically disbursed, I would think most have an attendance issues.

I'm basketball fan, so I watch them all. This time of year there are some really good games to watch, regardless of the conference. The basketball season doesn't end when App's does, otherwise you'd miss a whole month of basketball each year.Saint3333 wrote: ↑Tue Mar 10, 2026 7:01 amI miss the movies and music of the 80s and 90s, but App State isn’t playing in the SoCon so I don’t care about it. I won’t be watching the West Coast Conference, etc. either.Seattleapp wrote: ↑Mon Mar 09, 2026 9:49 pmIt’s a thousand times better conference tourney than ours for one

That's fine, but the comment the SoCon is far superior basketball than the SBC was hyperbole.
They had more fans as they had to drive an hour for the game, but the quality of basketball is mediocre (same in the SBC) in relation to March Madness.
