ESPN has all three "analysts" projecting Arkansas St pulling out a win. I don't disagree they ended the season strong but I'd be shocked if they ran five straight.
Other then the Akron win (which tbf was solid) Troy hasn't won against a good opponent since late January. This feels quite a bit like the 21' season in terms of the bench. Looking now we were arguably more thin although we had a bit more depth at guard but short a couple bigs. (Wild looking at some of the young guys on the bench lol!).
Troy and App both gassed at the end of the season, but I'd say we played better than them. Troy was 3-3 down the stretch with the 3 wins against the bottom 4. Although, we lost to Texas State and Marshall at the end, we had a chance to win both and both are two of the better teams in the conference. If we'd taken care of business against Georgia State and ODU the second time around, we'd have been outright #1. Anyways, can't dwell on that. Hopefully, we have a couple guys get hot, but any team we play that is not rested, our defense should give us a significant advantage.
