Grab some popcorn, it will be interesting to watch. Politics has always been publicly forward in Louisiana sports. All the way back to Huey Long. If they win all good, but....
Currently infighting going on for money. Right now spending on football is off the charts and other sports are fussing about it some. Their legendary baseball program is currently being shorted and some are saying their coach may get poached by Texas A&M. For now Football and women's hoops get the most. Men's hoops is last or close to it in the SEC in spending. Will Wade's salary will be in the bottom three for SEC hoop coaches.
What is wild to me is they have 11-12,000 at every baseball game and 10,000 at every gymnastics meet and both sports lose money. Gymnastics is top five every year and is losing about $3 million a year. Baseball generates $10 million a year in revenue and spends $11. Football generates about $10 million per home game. Per reports, their athletic department generated $223 million last year and the profit from their football team is more than our entire athletic budget. The money there is mind boggling.

So basically, State got what it signed up for. He was a scoundrel at Chattanooga, he was a scoundrel at VCU, and at LSU, we all learned just how big a scoundrel he is.

Read that Wade bought his old house in Baton Rouge back on Feb 23 and that State was 1-6 since then. Seems like he quit the team a long time ago. Also read conspiracies about how this has been planned for a while with the AD guy from McNeese.
