I am excited to see what the squad can do this season. Coach Jones has the program trending up in my opinion.

Great start. A little further down the road.. have UNC and Tenn. Hopefully they show well against these teams heading into conference play.

UNCG scored 4 in the bottom of the 7th to hand App its first loss of the season.

For those who follow softball more closely, is this a first for us? Either way, great start to the season for softball, hope they can keep it up.

Best start in program history per the twitter. No idea if we've appeared in the mid major poll before. People inside the program are high on the team. McClain is the real deal at bat. Moshos the senior and then Fisher is a freshman in the circle who has impressed early.

One thing to known about softball is the Sun Belt is traditionally one of the toughest in the country and is currently third nationally in RPI.

Was down 3-1. Tied it 3 all in 7th. But lost 5-3 in 8 to UNCCH.

Won against Princeton again today 6-3

Also beat Rider 9-3 today.
