That is an impressive schedule. Playing top contenders in other conferences including trip to Coral Gables. Coach may want to set curfew at night on that one. 😁

Apps 4, Winthrop 1 in top 8th. Luke Drumheller broke a 1-1 tie with a three run homer in top 7th.

Tough loss.... up9-8 going into bottom of 9....had an out.... then walk single and change pitchers to Papp..... tough position to come in cold.... gives up a double with two guys in .... then intentionally walks guy bases loaded and gives up a single down the line.

I'll take 2/3 in every series all season long! Great start to the season. Saturday's pitching was encouraging and the lineup looked solid. It was interesting having McGowan coming off the bench though.
