Now it looks like if your team is really bad, you can not only get a new coach, but you can also get an entirely new team.

Or if they're really good. You wouldn't think the team that just won the championship would be melting down at this time.

Transfer Portal should not open until all bowl games are done. You can leave before that, but you have to refund your scholarship money if you don’t fulfill your commitment til season’s end.

I think the PTB knew that revenue sharing/contracts were going to come and knew that it would be tough to go from nothing- professional contracts, so they decided " lets let the players transfer an unlimited amount of time, in the interim and fans will beg for contracts" and so now when you are getting 30 40 50 new kids every year, contracts seem SOOOOOO much more reasonable.

Can you imagine if NFL players could hold out EVERY year for more $$, what a crazy system we have.

They got 9 in the portal so far ...time will tell how many others enter.

Seems logistically improbable now that bowl games/CFP don’t conclude until after the Spring Semester starts.
