Let’s go! Hopefully they planned this on a home baseball weekend as well. The more the merrier.
Edit- We almost got it right. Glad Spring game is back!! But missed opportunity with Baseball team being away this weekend. Home April 19 V JMU….that would have been fun to do both.

This is good news. I wish it was a week later to piggy back with a home baseball game (or even 2 for better chance at better weather) but a spring game is better than no spring game.

This needs to be advertised right...on campus to the students...Need students to show out like a home game.
The spring game is primarily for the fans and secondary for players.
Many schools have butchered their spring game by working on specific potential game situations throughout the game. I hope they give the fans at least 3 quarters and then roll into whatever game situation ideas.
Charge s low nominal amount $5 or $10 to get in ...and give to Football Support Fund.
Kids under 10 get in free

One of many purposes: to adjust the depth chart so things will be in place for August practice.

To make money. Get to know the players and coaches. In game reps for players. Get a good read on depth chart before the summer hits. Town makes money, food and bev, hotel…etc.

Purpose? So I can sit in a parking lot, grill a hamburger and drink some beer before attending a practice with a shirt staying, “I hope both teams have fun.” Pretty nice little Saturday.
