The boys are hitting now. We keep wearing pitchers down with great at bats.

The first one he played it correctly. He looped in behind it but lost it at the last second. Second one was an effort play. He was pretty deep to begin with as the wind is blowing out to left.

Blows two fastballs by an over-matched hitter. Then gets too cute by trying to push him off the plate. Hits him. Next batter hits a chopper to the mound. Should have taken the force at second. Then hangs a first-pitch, get-ahead slider for two runs. Cost himself at least one run for not using his noodle.
