Agreed! We also need someone to get hot in the second half and go on a streak from the 3-point line. If we could get a decent lead inside of 3 minutes then just don't turn the ball over and hit free throws and we can win the game..

I bet Hall is playing in the PAC 12 next year.NattyBumppo'sRevenge wrote: ↑Fri Feb 27, 2026 8:50 pmHall and Drone are pretty good. TX St plays good defense, too. They appear to suffer from poor FY shooting as well.

They matter, but other things matter moreAppStFan1 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:14 pmI thought some folks said free throws are not important? LOL. People should go look at box scores of games that were less than 10 points and then see how the losing team did at the free throw line. It is amazing how many teams who shoot below 70 percent at the free throw line would have won if they could hit closer to 80+. Hope we don't lose this game by single digits and see that we missed 10+ free throws.

Gotta say we’re getting a kind whistle. I think some of these fouls they’ve called on Tx St’s ball pressure I’d be losing my mind if I was a fan of theirs. Let’s see if we can make it matter

Show me a quote of someone saying they aren't important. The only argument is whether we should sacrifice defense in recruiting and practice over free throws. We aren't Duke so we typically can't get bothAppStFan1 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:14 pmI thought some folks said free throws are not important? LOL. Up 4, get the ball twice. Miss two wide open threes and turn it over. I’m sure that won’t come back to bite

The fouls on them tonight remind me of the fouls on us against Marshall and I was losing my mind.diehardapp18 wrote: ↑Fri Feb 27, 2026 9:44 pmGotta say we’re getting a kind whistle. Biggest game of the season and we’re just bricking 3’s without even trying to get the ball inside. This is hard to watch.
